The Scorpion A2-Series line of motors was developed as a premier high-performance power system for freestyle and UAV airplanes. The A2-Series combines exceptional power output with extremely high operating efficiency.
By optimizing the rotor magnet design and utilizing premium 0.2mm silicon-steel stator laminations together with high-temperature enamel-coated copper windings rated above 200°C, Scorpion has achieved outstanding efficiency and power density.
The motor's robust construction has been extensively tested by Scorpion's world-class team pilots to provide excellent longevity, reliability and performance.
The A2-10020-160KV was developed specifically for aircraft requiring approximately 120cc gasoline-engine equivalent performance using a 12S LiPo power system, as well as UAV and specialty aircraft requiring up to approximately 9300 watts of peak power.
It can also be used as a lightweight electric power solution for certain 150cc-class airframes.
