The new LOGO 700 V2 represents the next evolution of Mikado's flagship
700-class helicopter platform.
Developed around the demands of modern 5th-generation flight-control
systems, high-voltage power systems and today's extremely fast and
powerful servos, the LOGO 700 V2 incorporates numerous structural and
drivetrain improvements.
Immediately noticeable is the helicopter's lower and more compact stance,
featuring a shorter main rotor shaft, lower rotor head and a 30 mm
full-carbon tail boom requiring no external boom supports.
Internally, the V2 receives extensive chassis and drivetrain revisions.
The tail rotor now utilizes a torque-tube drive with aluminum and
reinforced-plastic bevel gears, improved gear-mesh adjustment and axial
damping of the torque tube.
The chassis has also been strengthened to increase torsional rigidity and
distribute the significantly higher mechanical loads generated by today's
high-performance power systems — without unnecessarily increasing weight
or construction complexity.
Multiple main-rotor-head damping configurations allow the LOGO 700 V2 to
accommodate a wide range of operating head speeds while maintaining the
precise, agile and predictable flight characteristics for which the LOGO
platform is known.
